Hello everybody!

Two weeks ago, we were delighted to find out we had won the Pizza Jam, the very competition this game was made for. This was the team's first ever jam, and also our first ever victory! Here we are with our prize:

We are Lupus In Fabula

Real talk here, Lupus In Fabula used to be just me (Mario), and I've unsuccessfully partaken in many jams. Well, I say unsuccessfully because I didn't win, though I did learn lots! Still, my games weren't quite there yet, I just couldn't make it to the top.

What changed this time? Simple:

TEAMWORK!

My good friends Giulio and Francesco joined me for this adventure, and where my games fell short, OUR game thrived! So from now on, Lupus In Fabula isn't just me, it's all three of us.

To make a long story short, we'll be working together from now on, and our first project will be a FULL VERSION of It Lies in the Dark!

We're making a FULL VERSION

Here's what you can expect from the full version:

• More levels
• More monsters
• Lots of LOOOOOOOREEE interwoven with the game play, more like Amnesia than Hello Neighbor, don't worry ;)
• New items
• A boss fight
• MUSIC!

Here's the first alpha

To celebrate the pizza, we're also releasing the first alpha to the game! The jam version will still be up, along with the alpha, which has the following additions:

• Dungeon size and difficulty options to customize your experience (including the extra-hard, borderline unfair nightmare difficulty)
• Seeds to allow you to replay the same dungeon
• A macos version! (Let us know if you have any issues with it!)
